Friday Young Creatives Art Class for P6 – S3 age group  NEW

Venue: Linlithgow Bowling Club, 2 Philip Avenue, Linlithgow, EH49 7BH
Date: Every Friday from 23 August – 22 November 2024 (no class on 13 September, 18 October and 25 October due to local school holidays and 27 September due to tutor’s exhibition commitments)

Time: 3.15pm – 4.45pm

This is a new, exciting, and challenging art class aimed at the older age group of children, looking at technique development in drawing, painting, and printmaking, and building on creative processes. An opportunity to look at art and design history, and contemporary art practices to inform student’s own work. Students will be encouraged to use sketches to develop initial ideas, studying works by artists and designers to gain further knowledge before creating final pieces. There will be group projects as well as independent art projects in this class. Quality artist materials will be used in this course.

 

Fee: £140 (art materials provided)
