Soft Pastels Drawing Workshop (18+)

If you have some drawing experience and you wish to develop your skills in working with soft pastels, this class is for you. In this 3-hour workshop you will create a quick drawing on a small sheet of Pastelmat and a larger, more sustained pastel painting on Pastelmat. Soft pastel is a beautiful, tactile medium which can be used as an expressive drawing tool for quick drawings to highly finished artwork that appears like a painting. There will be tutor demonstration and individual feedback.

 

Fee: £65 (includes art materials: 1 medium sized sheet of Pastelmat, 1 small sized sheet of Pastelmat and a new set of 64 soft pastels to use in class and take home).
